Reading List

There is a lot of down time when backpacking and it is rare not to find a traveller with a book to read. In countries where English is not the spoken language, often the only way to get a new book to read is to swap with other travellers. This leads to reading a variety of books, many of which one would not normally have read. When I travel, I carry one book to swap and three which I keep. The latter are my travel books, I have read them countless times and will read them countless more.

You may have noticed that I'm carrying a pile of books now, and that's due to living in the van and having a LOT more room.
